KIMS Central Library
The KIMS Central Library spans over 3,200 sq.m and is equipped with a stack room and separate reading rooms. There are dedicated reading areas for students, both inside and outside, with a total capacity to accommodate 100 students in each room. The outdoor reading room offers more than 500 sq.m of space, ensuring a quiet and spacious environment for studying. The library houses over 29,263 textbooks and reference books and subscribes to 39 Indian journals and 24 foreign journals. Additionally, there are 30 internet nodes available for students and staff to access online resources. The library also features a staff reading room with seating for 40 individuals, alongside 3 examination halls with a capacity of 250 seats each.
Hostel Facilities at KIMS Hubli
The KIMS Hostel is conveniently located within the campus and offers separate accommodations for boys and girls, each with attached toilet facilities. The girls’ hostel consists of 2 blocks, with a total capacity of 387 students, while the intern hostels can house 100 students in each of the 2 blocks. The hostel is equipped with an Anti-Ragging Committee to ensure a safe and secure environment for all residents. Additionally, the campus includes residential quarters for both teaching and non-teaching staff, with a total capacity for 478 individuals, each staff quarter occupying 60 sq.m.
